Why am I here?

Here in BE, I explore patterns of thinking and being through the lens of an aspiring architect. With a curious nature and an optimistic spirit, this newsletter playfully yet thoughtfully carves into the fields of design and philosophy – particularly the studies of aesthetics and metaphysics.

As a designer working in and studying the field of architecture for several years, I am passionate about the role our physical environment has in our personal and communal development. The geometries that we understand in physical space can also be applied to modes of thought, emotion, and being. It is in these areas where I find the most valuable inspiration. Through each newsletter, I build on dualities such as roundness and linearity, feminine and masculine, and public and private, that serve as the datum or spine to a developing design and life philosophy. It is my hope to mold a landscape of mutual understanding and respect to overcome conflict in the soul, in the home, and in the world.
